If your friend has NEVER read an H.L. Burke book and they get “hooked” with the one freebie, I have 49… ish (I still don’t know how many books I’ve written. It keeps changing) for them to binge. Every new reader is a potential goldmine for an indie author. The more friends you tell, the more chances I have of expanding my audience, and like, yeah, I’m not in this for the money (if I were I’d be going crazy), but it is very nice to keep this business “in the black” and … someday, maybe, I’ll get enough sales that I can have my dream woodland manor with a special wing just for my two dozen cats.
